Biography

Javad Taghizade is a Baku-based opera and symphony conductor, musician and producer with vast experience of studying, participating and organizing international projects in fourteen countries on three continents.Began His career as a violinist participating in numerous international festivals and competitions (USA, UK, France, Italy, Spain, Finland, Poland, Austria, Germany, Russia, Turkey, Slovenia, Morocco) during which I have developed an international network of professional contacts. As a violinist was represented by the “Maestro Music” concert bureau (DE\FI) between 2010-2013 that organized critically acclaimed solo-recitals in Sweden, Finland and the rest of Europe. While receiving my second degree from Baku Music Academy as an opera and symphony conductor, established “Maestro Music Azerbaijan” in partnership with my colleagues from Europe. Using international festival experience and connections, began to work as an entrepreneur, producer and organizer of academic classical music events in Azerbaijan. With the financial support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation have produced, staged and conducted Haydn’s opera ‘L’isola disabitata’ at the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg, and then organized a concert tour of the theatre in Azerbaijan. First time in almost 240 years history of Mariinsky Theater it was accompanied by a student orchestra - Baku Music Academy Student Symphonic Orchestra. Currently, work as the principal conductor of the Radio and Television Orchestra, conductor of Baku Sinfonietta Orchestra, Director of “House of Record” of Azerbaijan National Television and Radio Broadcasting company.
